We’ve won a Sustainable Food Business Award from Cambridge Sustainable Food (CSF).
As one of the first to receive the new Environment Award, Sweet Gill D’Apollonio, co-founder of Maurizio Dining & Co. says:
‘We’re delighted! CSF reviewed our environmental practices and supported our team with training and actions. As a result, we’ve introduced an Environmental Policy; we’re measuring energy use; food and wider waste and we’re hoping to make our supply chain more sustainable as well. It’s on-going but we are heading in the right direction.”
Cambridge Sustainable Food has launched #yeswecam, a new campaign to encourage everyone in Cambridge to help co-create a local food system that’s healthy, climate-friendly and fair for all. The #GoldFoodCambridge campaign aims to ensure that the city becomes the third Gold Sustainable Food Place in the UK, following in the footsteps of Brighton and Bristol.
Maurizio Dining supports the campaign and you can find out more on social media @cambridgesustainablefood #yeswecam
